Set in 7½ Acres of Lincolnshire countryside, Woodside Cattery, Kirkby Underwood provides lALL INCLUSIVE HOLIDAYS for your cat or cats.   The Cattery is licensed by South Kesteven District Council to board 25 cats. We have both indoor and outdoor pens. The outside pens (fully insulated chalets with large courtyards attached)  have infrared dull emitter heat lamps (on thermostats) and a warm heat pad for extra comfort in the sleeping quarters.  In the run they have tree branches, seat, shelf and steps.   The indoor block offers 10 inside single pens, all have raised sleeping areas at the rear with stair access and a shelf to the front. Below the sleeping area is a generous floor area for exercise. All pens have heat pads and there are heat lamps suspended from the roof throughout the building and a radiator in reception. 

The first of the new pens for one or two cats is shown below.  These have internal and external shelves for relaxation, heat lamp and pad and a pop hole for access from house to run. All pens have large moulded plastic beds with fluffy vet bed for the cosy feel of home.

 We find that the indoor accommodation  is ideal for nervous cats as they can watch our family life going on from their own safe environment.

We are both animal lovers and as well as running the Cattery, we have two sheep, chickens, ducks, geese, 3 pet dogs (living in the house away from the cats!) and 1 cat. Our donkeys Tara & Doris will often meet you over the fence as you drive up to the cattery. 

All cats boarded are covered by vet fee insurance (existing conditions are excluded) so you can be assured that they will be taken to a vet promptly should a problem occur during their stay with us.

We insist that all cats boarded with us be up to date with their vaccinations (Cat Flu and Feline Enteritis). We do ask that flea treatment is up to date and your cat wormed prior to boarding. If your cat has shown any signs of being off-colour we really do appreciate details of this prior to boarding.

We can cater for special diets (with prior notification) otherwise we feed Whiskas, Felix, cans or pouches, Science Diet or IAMS

The cats are fed twice daily (more frequently for kittens and elderly residents) and are checked at regular intervals.   Our last check of the day is at 9pm. We endeavour to make your cat's stay with us enjoyable and relaxing.
